Format:
Multiple Choice: Fifty Questions (50
percent)
Written Response: Three Questions (50
percent)
Material Covered:
The exam will cover all the
information studied thus far. For a
comprehensive list of terms and topics, refer to the unit descriptions and
study/practice questions from the individual unit tests.
Calculators:
No calculators are permitted on the exam.
Multiple Choice Section:
The multiple-choice questions will
be similar to the questions that you have encountered on tests, study
questions, etc. throughout the semester. Some of these questions will require
you to crunch numbers and to apply formulas that you learned earlier in the
semester. Possible number questions include, but are not limited to:
calculating costs, determining the profit maximizing output, determining the
best number of workers to employ, determining costs, revenue, or profit from a
graph, and determining elasticity.
Written Response Section:
There will be three questions, two short
and one long. They will be similar in format to the written response questions
on tests. In these questions, you will be asked to combine concepts that were
covered in different units of the course.
The Exam in the Calculation of
the Semester Grade:
The exam will count as 20% of the
semester grade.
