FOMC (Additional Guidelines):

1. Create your own name tag (For the person you are portraying).

2. Dress in character.

3. Prepare a visual for your presentations if possible.

4. Be prepared to turn in all of your research (in an organized fashion).

5. Look over the simulation debriefing questions. (If time permits, the Chairman will lead this discussion.)

6. Take notes during the meeting so that you are prepared for the debriefing (I will collect these notes.)

7. Collaborate with your classmates so that you all aren’t saying the same thing in the 1^st Go-Round.

8. You’ll have to do research on the entire economy in order to accurately make policy predictions in the 2^nd Go-Round.

9. Remember to bring the presentation and voting order sheet to the meeting so that you’ll know when the Chairman is going to call on you to speak.

10. In the 2^nd Go-Round, you’ll state your stance with regards to the target for the Federal Funds Rate (FFR) and support your stance with evidence. This is the objective of the meeting and what we’ll be voting on at the end.
